In an one-page advertising published in the Notabilidades section of Almanach Seckler for 1888 (Almanach da Provincia de São Paulo Administrativo, Industrial e Commercial para 1888), B. Wilhelmi annnounces that his specialty was to set up letterpress or litography printing shops, binding workshops and stereotype and rubber stamp factories. He also announces that he represents German companies J. Wilhelmi (Berlin based manufacturer of Progresso, Avante an Boston printing machines), R. Gerhold (Leipzig based brass type and ornaments founder), Emilio Gurch (possibly Emil Gursch, Berlin based type founder), W. Gronau (Berlin based type founder who produced type in the french system), J. A. Schindel (Solhofen based producer of lithographic stones), and to be in touch with other manufacturers of printing and biding machines, such as Karl Krause, Koenig & Bauer, Karl Koch and Augsburg.
