Gustavo Orlando Fudaba Curcio

Gustavo Curcio, journalist and architect, Postdoc and PhD in Design by FAUUSP, started his career at Editora Abril. Strongly performance on Graphic Design, Visual Storytelling and Communication (B2B and B2C strategies), specialist on branded content and corporate relations. At the most important publishing house of Latin America, Curcio developed editorial and graphic design projects for AnaMaria, Máxima and Minha Casa (first issue sold out in 3 days). After leaving Editora Abril, he edited História Revista for ANER and Ronnie Von Magazine for RMC Editora. In 2013 he founded the first “owned media” agency of Brazil, Magu Comunicação Integrada. In July 2019, Gustavo founded the successful startup – Content, Business & Travel, that promotes innovation through projects and cooperation between Academy and Companies (Design, Architecture and Engineering). He is researcher and professor at Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo, FAUUSP. Gustavo researches Visual Design, Editorial Design, Graphic Projects, Branding and Magazines. He also makes part of editorial councils at revista aU (editora Pini), revista Téchne (editora Pini), and revista Visão. As extension activity to researching and teaching at FAUUSP, Gustavo still be scientific advisor at ArqXP, that promotes direct contact between undergraduate students in Architecture and Design with the most innovative cases through debates, lectures, courses and technical visits in factories and corporations. Gustavo participates on LabVisual – Laboratório de Pesquisa em Design Visual (FAU-USP) and GENN – Grupo de Estudos de Novas Narrativas Visuais (ECA-USP)
